Industry currency can be maintained through various means such as part-time work in the industry, accredited training, belonging to industry associations, or staying updated with industry journals and technology changes.
As of 1 July 2019, Trainers and Assessors must hold TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor. Alternatively, they can hold TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with additional units TAELLN411 and TAEASS502.
